Shekinah Students Allowed Back On Campus - Starting December 7th

Last night (December 1st) I e-mailed our school board and asked that they join me in prayer for the outcome of an important meeting today. We must never underestimate the power and importance of making our requests known to God  (Philippians 4:6).  I'm praising the Lord for a significant answer to prayer in a slightly different way than we expected. We are anticipating being able to return to in-person learning and being able to resume athletics soon. While we continue to take the health and safety of our students seriously, the Madison County Public Health Department has changed the directives (orders) to advisories. Thus, allowing us the opportunity to resume learning and athletic activities in-person while continuing to follow our safety protocols.

Due to the incredible amount of hard work it has taken teachers to prepare for online learning and the fact that students have already cleaned out their lockers and the fact there is some re-arranging of a couple of classrooms that needs to take place before we can welcome students back, we are going to finish this week with online learning with the goal of returning back in-person on Monday, December 7th.  We will be expected to guarantee six-feet of distancing between desks in order to resume in-person learning,

Our athletic director Mrs. Dreier and I are working together with our basketball coaches, other schools, and the referee assigner to determine what is realistic for the resumption of athletic games.
We have delayed the release of Wednesday's Spark so that we can include final details for academics and athletics. Please check your email tomorrow for the latest Spark!
