AdministratorThank you for taking time to explore what Shekinah Christian School has to offer! We know that you have other choices when it comes to your child's education.  Our ACT test scores over the last 13 years show that students who graduate from SCS are ready for college. Our students have attended a variety of colleges and universities throughout our 38 year history. Recent graduates have attended places such as Ohio State University, UMass-Amherst, Bowling Green, Cedarville University, Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Ohio Christian University, Rosedale Bible College and other schools. Our high school students have the opportunity to compete in six OHSAA-member athletic teams and to participate in a rapidly growing fine arts program. Each year students enrolled in select Spanish classes get an opportunity to be immersed in a cross-cultural experience in countries like Ecuador, Spain, and Costa Rica. We are working to expand the opportunities for our students outside of the classroom for other age groups as well.
Our mission is to inspire students through programs and relationships to become engaged lifelong learners who glorify Jesus Christ while impacting their community. We realize that many schools can boast about the way they prepare students for college and brag about a diverse array of options for students. At Shekinah it is the Christ-centered focus in our academic and extra-curricular opportunities that sets us apart. It is the integration of a Biblical worldview into our programs and relationships in a family-like atmosphere that makes the Shekinah Difference. Our small class sizes often equip children to flourish when they get more interaction with their teacher and with their peers.
Again, we want to extend a warm welcome to you as you explore our website and discover what Shekinah Christian School offers you and your child. Please let me know if you have questions or are interested in becoming part of the Shekinah family.
Looking Forward,
Brice Kauffman
