I'd like to introduce myself...
I grew up, and still live, right here in Madison County in the tiny village of Rosedale. From 5th grade until graduating in 2008 I attended Shekinah and had a wonderful experience. After high school I attended Rosedale Bible College for one year. After that I attended Cedarville University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in History. One year later I was hired by Shekinah to teach and the position of Athletic Director. Since 2013 I have guided the athletic department while teaching classes including Biology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, World History, Health, Physical Education, and Christian Growth. I have also been the baseball coach for the last four years. I love working with the kids here at Shekinah and helping them learn more in the classroom and excel in their sports.
I attend Shiloh Mennonite Church where I also serve as Youth Pastor for the youth group. When not teaching or with the youth group I have a number of different interests and hobbies that fill out my time. What I like most is traveling both in our country and abroad. I have had the privileged to see much of North and South America and I love to travel during our summer break. I also love hiking, softball with our church team, raising Golden Retriever puppies, camping, and socializing with friends. I also love following sports with my favorite teams being the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks. I am the 3rd child out of 5 and love my expanding role of being an uncle.
If you have any questions about the athletic department or the classes I teach please feel free to email or call any time and I'll get right back to you.
