At Shekinah, our art program encompasses elementary, junior high and high school. The focus is to develop visual literacy in our students to help them better navigate our increasingly visual culture. Students learn about artists and their styles, art history and cultures around the world while they learn technical skills in a wide variety of media. Instruction incorporates both the elements and principles of art. Our program is about more than just art production. We believe that God, as Creator, put a spark of creativity in each of us, and it is our goal to develop that in each student.
