Elementary (K-6) music is offered two days per week for 45 minutes.
We incorporate a variety of musical activities to strengthen all aspects of music learning. We place a strong emphasis on music reading and aural training using the Solfège system, as well as activities like bells, xylophones, rhythm instruments and movement to create hands-on learning experiences.
Our annual Christmas program and Spring Music Showcase give students opportunities to perform what they have learned and to hone their musical skills. The goal of our elementary program is to create positive experiences with music for our students and to give them tools to strengthen their God-given talents for His kingdom.
